Those wishing to schedule an appointment to get a booster can schedule an appointment online. The fairgrounds site is open from 8 a. Mondays through Saturdays and 8 a. In addition to the fairgrounds, appointments for booster shots are available at several local pharmacies.
With vaccines arriving at a rate of approximately , doses per week , eligible New Yorkers should be prepared to receive an appointment date as far as 14 weeks in the future. We do not book appointments at the Fair.
You must make an appointment. You should receive your second dose at the same facility as your first dose. At the State Fair Expo Center facility, after your first dose, you will automatically be scheduled for your second vaccination.
You will receive confirmation one or two days after your visit with appointment details. All appointments are being booked for 21 days or three weeks later , at the same time slot as your first dose. You should bring your vaccine card and ID with you. Your appointment for the second dose is 21 days or three weeks after your first appointment, at exactly the same time as your first appointment.
