All except the last one can be booked ahead of time and sell out quickly. North of Longmont, Loveland is another one of the towns near Estes Park to the east, on the outskirts of Denver. Despite being a small mountain town, Crested Butte is known for its many outdoor activities, such as hiking, fishing, The Rocky Mountain Range is known for its stunning wildlife and excellent skiing. Before exploring towns close to Rocky Mountain National Park, you may want to look into campgrounds. But the BEST part is the views over a 9-hole golf course behind the hotel where elk herds come to graze at dawn and dusk. The small but lively town sits in a box canyon, and the nearby Bridal Veil Falls is a tourist draw as much as the Telluride Ski Resort is in winter. Route 40, Granby has a few more amenities and is a great place to look for hotels near Rocky Mountain National Park on the west side.
