While we were faced with challenging weather conditions for several days, we persevered to provide the best experience possible for all. On the first Tuesday night of the Wisconsin State Fair, the southeastern Wisconsin area faced severe storms that left many in the area without power.

The fair reported over 8, animals were entered into competitions as well as over 7, competitive exhibit entries. Fair competitions that included livestock shows, horticulture, textiles, crafts and culinary saw over 2, exhibitors. The Wisconsin State Fair did enact several changes this year including a later entry time and cashless payments for parking and ticket entry.

The fairgrounds also completed the renovations to its Central Mall project, which allowed for more shaded area, improved lighting and more accessible pathways. In , the Central Mall project will continue with a new Central Mall restroom. And the Wisconsin State Fair would not be complete without the cream puffs.
