Last time we were in Asheville, this place was boarded up because of the pandemic. Now it’s open, and we’ve found another place to eat when we’re here. We were seated at the bar immediately got there around pm on a Saturday , and picked up the drink special frozen raspberry daquiri , then got an appetizer and two chicken Tikka wraps, which were incredible.

I’ve been there twice and I have always enjoyed the food and drinks. Went on a Wednesday afternoon and while the restaurant was more than half empty, we were asked to sit at the bar.

Not my preference but we were hungry thus stayed.. Ordered the breadsticks before the main meal and thought they were very bland. It comes with olive oil and butter and I wish they had added some fresh herbs to the oil to add more flavor to the dish. The trout and gnocchi were good. The mushroom sauce on the trout made the dish. I consider those prices high. Service was good throughout. But, vacationing on a budget is a reality, and if I would have seen the menu and their prices before we entered, I would have picked another place to dine.

The staff at this restaurant is great. They made is feel welcome as soon as we walked in. Our server explained everything on the menu so well that we didn’t have any questions.

The meal was 5 courses and we had our choice of Entrees. The rest of the meal was set. You can see the menu online as it changes consistently with the availability of different ingredients. The trout entree I had was one of the best pieces of fish I had eaten in a while. The courses are spaced accordingly and we never felt rushed.

We were definitely full after the meal ended. The cocktails were delicious as well. I highly recommended this restaurant. We love to eat and Cuchina 24 fit our taste. Since we are still in the Omicron phase the restaurant made sure all guests are vaccinated and we had to show our vaccination cards and wear masks until we sat down.

Staff was masked during the entire visit. We were very well taken care of by our waiter and other staff. They also were very accommodating about me allergies. Don’t be put off by the dowdy cinder-block exterior or the louche neighborhood. Inside this dimly lit, little restaurant that feels like a dive Great from start to finish! But, Greta was wonderful and worked her magic to secure us a table. Our server, Mark, was great! He was extremely attentive and made the perfect suggestions for our entire group.

Trout had yummy crisp skin, the steak was perfectly cooked and the mussels and pasta just right. Craft cocktails included a «kitchen coke». Funny take on a rum and Coke. This place offers especially good drinks and food!

From the outside the restaurant looks totally inconspicuous, but wrongly so: right at the reception you dive into the culinary world of the Admiral. We sat directly at the bar especially recommended for two! The barman Mat’s recommendations exceeded all our expectations.
