All were delicious. Service was attentive and friendly. Cute place. Loved that it uses local vendors for their food. Even in winter time the patio was super toasty with its enclosure and heaters. Simply put, their gnocchi is to die for, as are the Short Ribs and Joyce Farms Chicken seemingly every Asheville restaurant has their take on this local staple, but theirs is particularly good. Located in the heart of the Historic Pack Square area, the casually elegant Posana ranks among the best Asheville, NC restaurants in terms of fine dining.

The venue decor is modern and elegant and the food is utterly divine. One of the first fancier restaurants in downtown Asheville that we ate at before moving to AVL, Posana is another AVL restaurant that is always jumping. Posana has a dedicated gluten-free kitchen, which is perfect for my Celiac husband. Like Chiesa and Chestnut, Posana is the best restaurant in Asheville for celebrations. We had my birthday dinner here and everything was fabulous! William was knowledgeable, patient and kind.

He made our evening special and the food was absolutely delicious. We cannot wait to have our closest friends and family celebrate with us at this establishment.

Ordered the breadsticks before the main meal and thought they were very bland. It comes with olive oil and butter and I wish they had added some fresh herbs to the oil to add more flavor to the dish. The trout and gnocchi were good. The mushroom sauce on the trout made the dish. I consider those prices high. Service was good throughout. But, vacationing on a budget is a reality, and if I would have seen the menu and their prices before we entered, I would have picked another place to dine.

This was a place that came highly recommended – and it met those expectations! We must have arrived at the perfect time. There was no line. We were barely even seated for a minute before our food came out. I ordered the Southern Scramble and my husband ordered the Filthy Animal. Make sure you are very hungry – you get a lot of food!

There are a lot of 5 star reviews and I am hesitant with my 3 stars. We are visiting and someone suggested Biscuit Head. They had me at biscuit. The menu leans toward the heavy and unhealthy, but there is nothing wrong with that on occasion. I went for the biscuits. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and tasty. The bacon was awesome. I loved the idea that they take many traditional southern recipes and add their local flair.

For instance, the pimento cheese grits were different, yet, tasty. The jam bar was awesome. The different flavors that they offer are remarkable. The coffee was exceptional. The portions were plentiful. In short, it was a great experience. There is something on the menu for most if not all. I enjoyed it. Biscuit Head is located in Doctor’s Park, which may be required, as a plate from this quick service spot could send you into a food coma.

The line out the door shouldn’t scare you, as the ordering process is seamless with quality recommendations by the cashiers. With a jam bar, all made in house, and several types of coffee to choose from. I snagged The Filthy Animal, which was topped with a slightly spicy «pimento» cheese. Talk about a high quality, fluffy biscuit! Paired with thick bacon and a juicy piece of fried chicken, you just can’t lose.

The Southern Scramble was a dish anyone would like, we added Sriracha Maple sausage. We also snagged the fried green tomato stack featured on the scramble dish. Let me tell you, the slight bittersweet tomato against the pimento cheese just sang, it was really a masterful execution of flavor. You won’t need salt or pepper on any of these dishes, as they’re perfectly seasoned out of the kitchen just as expected.

Main course was not as good as it looked but still tasty. We got the steak and eggs as well as the trout. Trout was better Overall this restaurant has potential and the food is pretty great.

Just felt very overpriced and was saddened by lack of attention and timeliness. I had a pleasurable experience at The Market Place. I wanted my food to speak to me – I am delicious, and it did! The braised pork shoulder was tasty and melted in my mouth. The drinks were beautifully balanced! Down the Rabbit Hole was a great dinner accompaniment. Very good breakfast spot. Shorter than usual wait time for a breakfast place in Asheville on the weekends. Staff was friendly and great. Food was awesome. Great vegetarian options, biscuits and vegan gravy were a great side, and my breakfast bowl was great. They claim to be a farm to table place, and that is believable based on the fresh ingredients and the list of local farms and vendors they utilize.

I decided to try the chocolate oat milk because I’ve never had such a thing, and was super bummed it was a tiny glass, maybe 2. Would have skipped if I knew the quantity for the price. Vegetarian restaurant. Asheville has long been known for its vegetarian and green scene, and perhaps few places are better than Plant for trying vegetables and fruits. Plant is vegan, 90 percent organic, often local and mostly gluten-free, with almost everything made from scratch without an animal product in the house. Born and raised in a carniverous North Georgia family, I would have never imagined loving vegan food. Opened in by Leslie Armstrong, Alan Berger, and chef Jason Sellers, Plant was the restaurant that changed my mind, emerging as one of our favorite places to eat in Asheville.

Every dish was a visual experience utilizing varying colors, textures, and serving plates. Our table was nearly silent throughout our meal at Plant. Despite having much to discuss and catch up on with close friends, we were so overwhelmed by the flavors of the food that we were unable to do more than simply fully take in each bite.

Opened in by Leslie Armstrong, Alan Berger, and chef Jason Sellers, Plant was the restaurant that changed my mind, emerging as one of our favorite places to eat in Asheville.

Plant was one of the best culinary experiences of my life. Not only was the highlighted item in each individual dish spiced and cooked to perfection, but the accompanying items, which were delicious in their own right, enhanced the overall dish. The service was thoughtful, the staff were mindful of pacing our meal, and each dish was unique and exquisite. Every dish was a visual experience utilizing varying colors, textures, and serving plates. Our table was nearly silent throughout our meal at Plant.

Despite having much to discuss and catch up on with close friends, we were so overwhelmed by the flavors of the food that we were unable to do more than simply fully take in each bite. Distilling our experience into a review feels impossible, you’ll definitely want to experience Plant for yourself. There’s a separate «Classics» a la carte menu, but it’s hard to resist this unique degustation, which is best enjoyed overlooking the wood-fired oven at Cucina 24’s kitchen bar.

We had an excellent meal here. This restaurant was recommended to us by some of staff at the Hotel and we are glad we made the trip. The staff at this restaurant is great. They made is feel welcome as soon as we walked in.

Our server explained everything on the menu so well that we didn’t have any questions. The meal was 5 courses and we had our choice of Entrees. The rest of the meal was set. You can see the menu online as it changes consistently with the availability of different ingredients. The trout entree I had was one of the best pieces of fish I had eaten in a while. The courses are spaced accordingly and we never felt rushed.

We were definitely full after the meal ended. The cocktails were delicious as well. I highly recommended this restaurant. We love to eat and Cuchina 24 fit our taste. Since we are still in the Omicron phase the restaurant made sure all guests are vaccinated and we had to show our vaccination cards and wear masks until we sat down.

Jerusalem is a family owned and operated restaurant serving authentic Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine. We started with bacon wrapped dates. They were served with bacon, halloumi cheese stuffed in the dates and a pomegranate molasses drizzle.

This was an amazing dish. The bacon was crispy and the dates were slightly sweet this combined with the salty cheese and sweet drizzle made for a delicious bite. The lamb shanks were served with basmati saffron rice, roasted cauliflower and pita bread.

They lamb was fork tender and falling off the bone. It was spiced and seasoned perfectly with a slight toasted cumin heat that just lingered on the back of your tongue.

The rice was fluffy and cooked perfectly with a slightly sweet floral flavor. The pita was fresh, and the cauliflower was charred and tasty. When mixing everything together and eating it on the pita it made for near heavenly bite. If you go to this restaurant, I highly recommend that you order the specials or just let the chef pick. They also offer brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

We went to eat there for dinner and the service was terrible, it seemed they had a new waiter, never seen him before and our usual excellent server was bussing tables.

There was only one other occupied table, so not busy at all. When the gyros came, I had to take a double look. My mom had ordered a falafel sandwich and one tiny falafel was hidden in her mountain of lettuce.

The gyros looked much better at lunchtime!!
